I went to see N.E.R.D. performing at La Fête de l’Humanité with a couple friends last Friday. Going there feels like a pilgrimage. You see a lot of people walking in the same direction. You don’t know who knows the way but you just follow the crowd. Everyone goes with the flow towards a unique objective.  Some have backpacks, others have tents, a lot are drinking, yelling, singing… Some have dirty shoes and look like they came here walking from some other countries, some others are wearing their best outfit… A mix of various styles, origins, behaviors moving together.

And then you arrive.
