I’d go back to Brussels anytime just for the sake of being on the Thalys. It’s kinda surprising to see the efforts they made to improve the quality of service on board… Meal, Taxi booking, chocolates, smiles… So much better than my previous experiences on the train.

What about Brussels?

Actually I don’t know much of this town that I’ve just seen one hour and a half, the time for me to walk from the place where I was staying to get back to the train station.

First impression: The town is dead. Nobody can be found in those empty Sunday’s streets.

Second impression: If God exists he likes to make play with the people from this town. It was raining every 40 mn for 15 mn. It was very precise and very predictable once you knew how it was working. But what kind of joke is that?

Anyways.

As usual I’m happy to be back in my old town with its grey walls, narrow streets and sad faces. Because at the end it’s not that grey, not that small and it’s not so hard to find people smiling.

I get a lot of good moments here and I enjoy most of my days.

No matter how much I complain.
