Staying Home

April 14th, 2008 · 5 Comments

I haven’t been out much lately. For 2 reasons:

I have to take care of a person I love in my place.

I’m working 26hours a day on SoulTheTown.com my (wannabe) city life magazine. By the way, if you want to beta test it (and have later on a “I was an Elu” title that everybody will see) you just have to send me a mail at sten(at)soulandcity.com. I’ll be glad to give you an access to it.

That is for the promotion phrase that I have to put in every post now.

Anyways,

This situation makes me think about how I survive home. I just realized that I spend something like 80% of the time in my kitchen. From there I can:

  • Code on my computer
  • Facebook on my computer
  • Write on my computer
  • Listen to music
  • Make & drink coffee
  • Make & drink green tea
  • Get & make calls, on my various phones
  • Open the fridge and realize that it is empty
  • Open the fridge again and realize that magic hasn’t happened
  • A lot of other things too
  • Re-open the fridge and realize that I have short term memory loss

So when I’m home kitchen is my GQ. I don’t spend much time in my bedroom because I don’t sleep. And I’m not often in my living room.

Unless I carry my laptop with me.

You do not mention that you go to the toilet here. You dont do that at home? Just reminding you that a full bladder is more in danger for infections. A grown man should go to the toilett 4 times a day.:)
