Back to The Ground

March 21st, 2008 · 3 Comments

Sometimes reality slaps you in the face.

I went this morning with my mother to Eruobodo House Society, a center helping children with mental or physical troubles. It’s impressive to see the energy the woman running it has and what those kids are capable of: making necklaces, baskets, selling fishes and more. Mrs Grace Aderonke Odetola is trying her best to integrate them into the society and get the attention of the local to have some support.

In a previous entry I was saying how much lucky I am, being able to fool around in Paris. But I’m also lucky to have lived in Africa, it gets you back to the ground.

Thank you Mrs Grace Aderonke Odetola. That was a good slap.

If you want to send her a mail of support you can do it at qltd(at)infoweb.com.ng. She’ll appreciate it.

One more slap for me… But each is MEANINGFUL and USEFUL, that’s how we grow up, through our own experiences and through others’.

    Thanks for sharing this… again…

@Andrea: Hello, Mrs Odetola is a great woman. One must have a lot of courage and determination to do what she’s doing everyday. I can’t even imagine what she may go through.
I’m glad you liked this tiny contribution to show her work.
