That’s a part of me. I’ve been living in this town for 6 years now and I just started to like it a 2 years ago. I think that it’s all about finding your rhythm, learning to deal with the (bad) mood of people. But you’ll see, when you get used to it you expect people to be mean. If they’re not you start to be surprised and you tell all your friends that you’ve seen a miracle: “This waiter was sooooooo nice! He said Hello to me!”.
Obviously you have to get out of the “metro-boulot-dodo” routine which is NOT just a concept (Get a job here and you’ll see). But if you can do that, if you have the time to look around you the sparks of colors in this grey town, hear through the noise of the city the different languages spoken around you, feel the cultures overwhelming you sometimes so much that you start cursing after them, then you’ll realize how lucky you are to have all this.
I’m not saying that this is the best town in the world. I’m just saying that I Like It Very Much.
